As I am a member of Adventure Radio Society, I like doing Amateur Radio whilst canoing. See some fotos of my trip on "Schwielochsee", a nice sea 90km south of Berlin. I did some dozen CW QSO on 40m during the trip.

The MP-1 installed at DL2FI´s canoe, prepared fot 40m operation. The lower section of the MP-1 is from the mobile option. The original Radials are used, two from the antenna to the front, you can see them left to right and two from the antenna to the back hanging outbord. 
The canoe is a very old one, I can completly fold it for transportation. It is made from wood an linnen. In the middle of the picture you see the big wooden Paddle I use, at the next picture you will see the mini paddle :-)

Operating Position for CW with the Palme Mini Paddle. In the upper part you see the standard C-mount of the MP-1.  During transmitting I use the Palme Mini Paddle, during receiving I use the big wooden paddle. Operation was very easy except the problem that a canoe is not very stable if you dont use the big paddle.
