It would be very interesting to use such a small SDR Receiver with a small computer like a NetBook. I tried my Samsung NC10, which normaly is used as my UMTS Email tool

The NC10 is equipped with a "RealTek High Definition Audio " soundchip. It has a Stereo Microphon input and it is full duplex so it should can handle I/Q Signals. The processor is an ATOM N270 running at 1,6GHz, 1MB RAM OS is Windows XP Home installiert.

I used Winrad HD Software because it can handle the 1024x600 Screen of the NC10

Nach der Installation und Konfiguration lief die komplette Kombination sofort, das Ergebnis war überaus After Installation this combination worked at the first try after I had learned to use headphones instead of the installed speakers and after I had put the Input regulator for MicIn to the lowest possible value.

The following pictures show screenshots which I have taken directly from teh NC10 screen.

On this picture you see a 7040 kHz S9 signal, generated by an elecraft XG2 . Samplerate is 96 kHz. The image at 7060kHz is nearly perfect attenuated allthough I didn´t yet use the software regulators.

Same with an 1uV Signal. Signal to Noise even at this week signal is excellent.

Here you see the soundcard paneel. See the MicGain which is next to zero.
